Chocolate Update

After the earlier post on chocolate shoes, it would take a combination of a novel confectionary creation and a rainy day in Assisi to revive that subject. Tomorrow looks like a good hiking weather, but today, well....
An update: the shoe quality continued to improve.
The asking price on those decorated ones was over $30 a pair, not inexpensive for a buyer likely to quickly put their foot in their mouth.
Then, suddenly, the other day the shoes were gone and a new display appeared.
Chocolate tools. Keys, locks, wrenches, pliers, mallets, nuts (sans almonds) and bolts, all forged in chocolate.
A special treat for those who enjoy working their way through a (tool) box of candy.
Moving along quickly to a different subject, some local establishments seem reluctant to allow access to animals other than guide dogs. This incident suggests they have good reasons.
Looking forward to sunshine tomorrow. Chow, er, ciao.
